Background and Aim: Over one third pregnancy is unwanted in Iran. Injectable  contraceptives  is safe  and  effective contraception  that  an important aspect of women’s  life  is  sexuality. This study aimed to ass’s sexual function of women using Cyclofem presenting to health centers affiliated to Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences in Tehran, Iran in 2013.

Material and Method: This cross-sectional study was conducted on 120 women in health centers in Tehran, Iran. They were selected by multistage sampling. A  questionnaire   completed  by interviewing that  included 3 parts: GHQ test ,Female  Sexual  Function  Index  (FSFI) and  demographic  variables .Data was   analyzed   by  SPSS 16  and  descriptive   statistical and  logistic regression were used .)

Results: Score of sexual desire lower than other sexual dimensions. Logistic regression   showed women with high education and high scores from sexual satisfaction had better sexual function than others (P<0.05).

Conclusion: Women who used Cyclofem may be problem in desire dimension probably.  Health provider should present information related to Cyclofem in clients and aware them about side effects of Cyclofem.
